Wanderlei about Rickson: “I want to see if he’s a man”

After the controversies caused by the rules of the Grapping Super Challange, Wanderlei Silva releases the word, on his blog, and attacks Rickson Gracie, technical director of the event. Wand calls into question the legend that Rickson Gracie has 400 fights in his career, emerging victorious in all of them.

“Today I woke up being criticized by many about Rickson's story, and the thing I would most like was proof that I'm wrong and what I said really is a bunch of nonsense... I just want to know: where is the video of the 400 Rickson's fights? Prove me wrong because it's a question I've had for years...
I want to see if he's the man to admit that after Galvão's fight, for third place, he said: “Looking from here, I really think you won!” Don't you think we should be outraged by this omission? Galvão was robbed twice. As Vale-Tudo is at a low level, as Rickson said, why not fight again to see if the level of our sport can be raised?
Enough with the legend, if I'm wrong, prove it to me and if I prove it I'll become a fan too. Don't come at me with unfounded accusations and I think I'm speaking for many...

The Grapping Super Challenge was marked by controversy. With rules that favored submissions, implemented by Rickson, some athletes and fans complained about the criteria applied, disagreeing with the results of some fights.

One of the fights that generated controversy was Xande Ribeiro's victory by decision of the judges over André Galvão, (Wanderlei's ground technician) in the fight that was considered the best of the night. The duel ended in a 4-4 draw, and for the fans Galvão was the winner, the judges did not award points for a guillotine choke and a backlock. Wanderlei even claimed that Xande shared his prize with André Galvão, but the Super Challange champion denied it.
