Simple and objective, Ostovich explains why he accepts a rematch against VanZant in bare-knuckle boxing

Former UFC representatives, Rachael Ostovich will have a rematch against paige vanzant this Friday (23). Protagonist at Bare Knuckle 19, the athlete was simple and objective when asked about the main reason for repeating the 2019 confrontation. At a press conference, the fighter spoke about the subject.

“It kind of happened. I never thought I would be part of the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. I didn't think I would do it, but they gave me Paige and I didn't want the rematch. I accepted,” Ostovich said.

Before, representing MMA, Rachael will make her debut in the sport, which is unprecedented for the combatant. Willing to exchange forces with VanZant in 'bare-knuckle boxing', the fighter pointed out the reason, in addition to rivalry, for making the commitment.

“It’s the fight, in particular, and the agreement. Money talks,” she signed off.

With an unstable career in mixed martial arts, Rachael has a negative trajectory in the sport in which she competed between 2014 and 2020. In MMA, Ostovich, 30, currently has four wins and six defeats.

Former 'Ultimate sweetheart', VanZant will make her second appearance for BKFC. Hired by the organization after not having her contract renewed with Ultimate, the blonde lost on her debut, on points, against Britain Hart, in February of this season.
