Back after two years, TJ Dillashaw shows confidence and sends a message to the bantamweight division

The former champion of the category exuded optimism for his return to the octagon and reiterated his desire to win the belt again

Motivated by his return to the octagon, TJ Dillashaw He only has one goal in mind: to regain the bantamweight belt (up to 61,2kg) that was once his. In an interview with the official UFC channel, the former category champion expressed his desire to resume his reign and sent a message to the rest of the division.

“If you don't have something to prove in life, then you're not living. It doesn't matter if it's fighting or your day job, you need that push, that movement. What I need to prove is that I am the best in the world. I want that belt back more than anything else. I never lost it and I'm going back to get it back. Dad’s home,” Dillashaw declared.

Former leader of the under-61,2kg group, TJ has a difficult challenge ahead of him. In the main fight of UFC Las Vegas 32 next Saturday (24), the North American will measure forces against Cory Sandhagen, current number two in the category. At 35 years old, Dillashaw has a record of 16 triumphs and four setbacks in his professional MMA career.
