Shortly after the victory of Dustin poirier about Conor McGregor No. UFC 264 this Saturday (10), the former lightweight champion (up to 70,3kg) Khabib Nurmagomedov spoke out in his 'Twitter'. The Russian, who retired in 2020, congratulated the 'Diamond' on his victory and took the opportunity to needle McGregor.

"The good will always overcome evil. Very happy to Dustin poirier. I hope you get the belt at the end of the year”, wrote the Russian.
Former lightweight champion, Khabib retired in October 2020 with an undefeated record of 29 wins. The Russian has already defeated the two protagonists of this Saturday's show. In October 2018, Nurmagomedov defeated the Irishman and in September of the following year, he triumphed over the 'Diamond'. Both positive results were by submission.
Current lightweight number one, Poirier should be the champion's next challenger charles do brox. The North American has been on an impressive run. In his last 10 fights there were eight wins, one defeat and one 'I didn't answer'. The 'Diamond' has a record of 28 triumphs and six setbacks in his MMA career.
