Almost a month after winning the flyweight belt (up to 56,7kg) in UFC 263, Brandon Moreno continues to be revered in his country. The 'killer baby' was received by President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador this Tuesday (07) and received a tribute for being the first Mexican fighter to become world champion.

He invited the Mexican people to overcome themselves and not see anything impossible in life. Moreno's coronation took place on June 12th at UFC 263. In the co-main fight of the night, the Mexican fighter had a dominant performance in the rematch against Deiveson Figueiredo and won by submission in the third round. After winning the flyweight belt, Brandon now has a record of 19 wins, five setbacks and two draws.
