After leaving the gym blackzilians, where he trained, Melvin Guillard already knows the confrontation he will prepare for in Jackson's MMA, your new team. The participant of the second season of The Ultimate Fighter will face Mac Danzig at UFC on FOX 8, July 27th.
Guillard has a long history in Ultimate. The 30-year-old American has already had eighteen fights for the organization, with eleven wins and seven losses. In his career, “The Young Assassin”, as he is known, has 30 wins, 12 losses, two draws and one unsuccessful fight.
His opponent, Californian Mac Danzig, is 33 years old and was the winner of TUF 6, in the welterweight category. The athlete also has a vast history in the UFC – there have been eleven fights in total for the biggest MMA organization today. Additionally, Danzig fought in the King of the cage and fought for the extinct PRIDE. His record has 21 wins and ten losses.
UFC on FOX 8 is scheduled to take place on Key Arena, in Seattle (USA), on July 27th. So far, the clash between TUF veterans Melvin Guillard and Mac Danzig has been the only fight announced for fight night.
