Poirier responded to McGregor's provocation, who recently stated that the fight on the 10th must remain standing all the time and that “whoever tried to take the first takedown was a dirty b***h”.

“How about if we say that whoever gets knocked down first is a dirty b***h? This is MMA. We agreed everything. This smacks of insecurity to me”, replied the North American.

Dustin poirier also revealed how he would like the fight against Conor McGregor ended.

“I would like to kick him in the face. Finishing it would be nice too. I mean, there are several ways to get there. I want to drag him through deep waters and show that I am more willing to bleed than he is,” said Poirier.

This will be the third fight between Dustin poirier e Conor McGregor. In the first, held in 2014, better for the Irishman, who won by technical knockout. In the rematch, in January this year, better for the North American, who returned the technical knockout. Poirier believes that the closure of the trilogy will maintain tradition and will not be left to the side judges to decide.

“Anyone can get caught. We've both been on the wrong side of each other. That's what makes the third fight so interesting. We've both beaten each other by knockout. We have a great history. Most likely someone will be knocked out or submitted once again, let’s see who it will be”, concluded Dustin.
