“I know the best part of my fighting days are behind me, but I would love to just put on the gloves a few more times, enjoy it and end my career in the sport the way I would like. I felt like in my last fights I was fighting just to fight. If I can have a few more opportunities where I can go out there and fight with my heart, I can die happy,” said Rashad.

The former UFC champion already has a target in mind for his first fight in this new phase. Rashad stated that Logan Paul would be the ideal opponent for his return.

PUBLICITY:

“I think I'm the right guy to face Logan Paul. If he's serious about this, he'll fight me. If he wants to play, he looks for someone else. But if he really wants to fight, evolve in the sport, then he will face me”, challenged Evans.

Rashad evans stated that he does not underestimate the capabilities of the Logan brothers and Jake Paul in boxing and guaranteed that, if the fight against Logan takes place, he will take his opponent seriously.

PUBLICITY:

“He's a young guy, he has a lot of physical tools and I want to see how I cope with that. I think it would be a fight that fans would like to watch. They saw him against Floyd Mayweather and realized he can hold his own. Floyd couldn't finish him off. His next fight cannot be just to survive. I don't think he wants to face these real boxers with so many skills. Maybe he wants to see how he gets along with me”, concluded the former champion.
