“The best thing for my career was leaving the UFC. I have another thought and direction for my future. Anything that is linked to me will get Dana White in trouble, because he doesn't like people who go head to head with him. He likes people who say amen to him and I'm not like that. I have my principles and I follow them. It's difficult to work with people like that. You don’t have to accept it, but respect it”, said the Bellator champion.

If the relationship with the UFC president was not good, things are going well in the current organization. Amid more criticism of Dana White, Cyborg highly praised the way in which Scott Coker, president of Bellator, works.

PUBLICITY:

“We (Scott Coker and I) are working partners. We both want to grow together. That's how it works. The relationship I had with Dana White, and that many athletes have, you see the Jon Jones, it is not a partnership. People want to take advantage of other athletes. Without the athletes, the event won’t happen”, explained Cyborg.

The history of Chris Cyborg in the UFC lasted just over three years. There were seven fights in the organization, with six wins and only one loss. The Brazilian won her inaugural featherweight title in her third UFC fight, defeating Tonya Ervinger, in July 2017. Cyborg successfully defended the belt twice, until losing it to her compatriot Amanda nunesin December 2018.
