Miltinho denies fighting Macaco in Brazil and says he hopes to return to the UFC

Fighter says he is not in training period and wants to enjoy the birth of his twin sons

Miltinho VieraMiltinho Viera's return to national MMA was announced last weekend. But the Brazilian Top Team featherweight denied that he agreed to fight against veteran Jorge Patino Macaco at Max Sport, an event that takes place on May 11th, at the Corinthians Gymnasium.

The fighter revealed that his manager, Alex Davis, is still trying to reverse his dismissal from the UFC, after the controversial split decision defeat by the judges in front of Geoffrey Pepey No. UFC Sao Paulo, in January this year. Furthermore, Miltinho wants to enjoy the birth of his twin children who came into the world in March.

“There is no fight, at any time. They asked me if I was available. It would be in May, but I wouldn't even have the will to fight now, I'm completely focused on my children. I’ve taken the time now for this, I’m not even training yet, just wearing clothes”, said Miltinho, in an interview with the Sportv website.
