The first fight on the main card at UFC Las Vegas 29, an event held this Saturday (19), featured a brutal knockout. The person responsible for this feat was veteran Matt Brown, who defeated Dhiego Lima still in the first round, after delivering a cross that obliterated his opponent.

With the result, Brown wins again after two consecutive defeats. The North American now has a record of 23 triumphs and 18 setbacks in his career. He also has the 'record' for welterweight fights (27) in the history of Ultimate.
Moreover, Dhiego Lima suffers its second negative result in a row. He had lost to Belal Muhammad |, in February this year. The Brazilian now has a record of 15 triumphs and nine setbacks.
The beginning of the fight was marked by a lot of study between the fighters, with both exchanging blows while standing without danger. Dhiego Lima, however, invested in low kicks that hit his opponent's calf. On the other hand, Matt Brown was cornered on the fence and tried to work on his boxing, but he saw the Brazilian setting the distance time.
In the second round, Matt Brown approached and tried to box, but Dhiego Lima tried to put it down – without success. The North American already seemed to feel his leg even more and, from his experience, continued 'marching' forward. And suddenly, everything changed. Brown only needed one blow to 'settle the bill' and erase Lima.
