Johny Hendricks on fighting St. Pierre: 'I have better wrestling and I hit harder'

The next challenger for the welterweight belt begins a series of provocations against the champion

John hendricks guaranteed the right to be the next challenger for the Georges St Pierre when hitting Carlos Condit at UFC 158, an event held last Saturday night (16), in Montreal. With the chance to fight for the title assured by Dana White, president of the franchise, the North American is already in the mood for rivalry before his next opponent.

When asked by a reporter about GSP's fighting style, based on wrestling, Hendricks was not intimidated and assured that he had a better takedown game than the champion. Furthermore, the North American stated that he also has a heavier hand than the Canadian.

“I believe I have better wrestling (takedowns) than him, I've been doing it since I was five years old. I also hit harder than him. It’s a proven fact,” said Hendricks.
