Yoel Romero reveals his desire to win two belts and sets a deadline for his Bellator debut

Cuban wants to debut in August and says he's excited to 'kill someone' in his new organization

Former middleweight fighter (up to 83,9kg) from Ultimate and recently signed from light heavyweight (up to 93kg) from Bellator, Yoel romero is excited to make his Bellator debut. The Cuban would make his debut against Anthony Johnson No. Grand Prix from the division, but had to withdraw after failing his medical exams. Now, however, he says he wants to debut in August this year in the new organization.

“Fans will be able to see me very soon. Maybe in August. It can happen at light heavyweight or middleweight. I want to fight for the belt in both categories. But I'll be back soon. I'm coming and I want to kill someone”, said Romero in an interview with the North American channel 'The Schmo'.

Yoel romero, 43 years old, is considered one of the most feared fighters in the history of middleweights (up to 83,9kg) in Ultimate. After almost ten years, the Cuban broke with the UFC to sign with its main competitor.

Professional in MMA since 2009, Romero has 18 commitments in the sport. The athlete has 13 triumphs and five setbacks. In his last five fights, Yoel was defeated on four occasions.
