Dana White, spared no criticism of Nick Diaz for his absence in the open training session at UFC 158, last Wednesday afternoon (13). But, this Thursday (14), the UFC president came to the fighter's defense at the press conference before the show. Right at the beginning of the journalists' question session, Nick was asked if he could miss the weigh-in or the fight in front of Georges St Pierre. At this moment, White took the floor and attacked the reporter.
"He is here. I guarantee he will be here tomorrow (at the weigh-in) and he will be here on Saturday (fight day)”, said Dana, criticizing the journalist. “I knew that would be your question as soon as you asked for the microphone. You want to piss him off… I knew it,” she added.
Nick Diaz challenge the champion Georges St Pierre for the welterweight belt in the main fight of UFC 158, an event that is scheduled to take place this Saturday (16), in Montreal, Canada.
