Without mystery, Vettori reveals how he intends to defeat Adesanya at UFC 263

Next challenger for the middleweight belt (up to 83,9kg.), Marvin vettori exudes confidence when it comes to Israel adesanya. Champion's opponent in UFC 263, which takes place on June 12, the Italian does not hide how he intends to beat the Nigerian, undefeated in the category. In an interview with 'ESPN', the athlete spoke about the subject.

“I want to finish this guy, Israel. I don't want to leave any doubt. I can do this”, said the challenger.

Defeated by Adesanya in 2018, in a split decision by the judges, Vettori is fully aware of the tough task of fighting against one of the biggest names in the UFC today. Thus, the Italian says he is satisfied even if the victory comes without happening on the fast track.

“He is solid. He's a good fighter, smooth, he can get out of positions. If he can't (finish), I want to win every round. I can’t let any round be close,” he concluded.

In the UFC since 2016, this will be Marvin's first title fight with Ultimate gloves. Adesanya, in turn, will try to be successful in his third title defense.
