Bare Knuckle confirms former UFC fighter as Paige VanZant's next opponent

After losing in his Bare Knuckle FC debut, paige vanzant He already has a date and opponent for his next appointment. This Thursday (27), the organization confirmed the star's return for July 23 and the North American will face an old acquaintance. In 'bare-knuckle boxing', the former Ultimate darling will face, for the second time, Rachael Ostovich.

In his first test at Bare Knuckle, VanZant showed strength, but made it clear that he needs to improve his striking if he wants to be successful in the company. In February, Paige ended up being defeated by Britain Hart, in a unanimous decision by the judges.

In the quest to make the investment promoted by the company worthwhile, VanZant is now trying to recover against Ostovich, recently released by the UFC. The July clash, however, will not mark the first meeting between the combatants.

In January 2019, Paige and Rachael exchanged forces in the Ultimate Octagon. On that occasion, VanZant got the upper hand, submitting her rival in the second round.

Now, although it is a rematch, the fighters are facing each other again, but with different rules. Without gloves, takedowns and kicks, the fighters will try to put on a great show for the company and the spectators.
