Even though he hasn't fought professionally for over eight years, Dan Hardy still plans to venture into martial arts again. The English athlete stated that he has received offers to box but that he still dreams of doing another MMA fight. The statement was made in an interview with the podcast 'Real Quick With Mike Swick'.

“A few people have messaged me with some offers, but the best offer so far has come from boxing,” Hardy said.
Although he is close to fighting in the noble art ring, Hardy stated that he intends to evaluate the market and compete in an MMA fight again.
“I intend to have a boxing fight by the end of the year and then, depending on the opportunity, I would like to have another MMA fight”, concluded the English fighter.
Dan Hardy's last fight was his victory over Amir Sadollah in September 2012. Shortly afterwards, the fighter was diagnosed with a rare heart disease, which forced him to interrupt his career. Even though he was cleared by doctors, 'The Outlaw' preferred to continue as a commentator on Ultimate broadcasts.
