The Brazilian Demian Maia, undefeated in MMA with a record of 6 victories, returns to the octagon in March, at UFC-82, which will be held in England. Demian made his debut at the event in edition 77, when he submitted Ryan Jensen in the first round.
"Yes. Unless something unforeseen happens, I will fight in the UFC in March. I think it's Ultimate 83 and it will be in England”, said the jiu-jitsu black belt.
After the Super Challenge, a grappling event that the fighter competed in this Saturday (December 8), Demian is already intensifying his training with an eye on MMA.
“Well, actually, as I already told you, jiu-jitsu is always part of my training. For the Super Challenge, I just left aside the striking part a little, but even so, I trained in MMA to help some friends who fought in Fury FC. Now I must intensify the striking part more with an eye towards MMA”, he said.
