Brazil suffered an important absence on the main card of the UFC Las Vegas 27. Out of combat after having problems cutting weight, Raulian paiva clarified the reasons that forced him to leave the fight against David Dvorak. On his social networks, the Amapá native spoke about the subject.

“Unfortunately, my fight fell through. The reason is that yesterday, while losing weight, I ended up feeling sick. I was feeling really good. My body and mind were feeling great before the dehydration part started. I remember that I did a session in the sauna, in the bathtub, and in a towel. When I was making a towel, I felt bad, a strong pain in my chest, in my head. (…) I remember waking up in the hospital, looking around without understanding anything, with the equipment on my chest and taking medication. (….) The doctor told me that I had low blood pressure and was very dehydrated”, said the Brazilian, in his profile on Instagram.
Out of action, Raulian regretted the incident. Optimistic, the Amapá native assured that he will recover and thanked the fans for their support.
“I'm very sad about not doing my job, which I've been preparing for for three months. Keep your head steady. I'm sure I'll come back much stronger. (…) I want to say I’m fine,” she concluded.
This weekend, Paiva would try to confirm his good phase in the organization. Brazilian promise in the flyweight division (up to 56,7kg), the fighter has two positive results in a row and currently occupies 12th place in the division ranking led by Deiveson Figueiredo.
