“I'm very happy, it's unbelievable. I worked really hard to face him. I had to train a lot of jiu-jitsu and study his game. I'm very happy because this finish shows my quality in gentle art”, said Sergipano in an interview after the show.

The Brazilian fighter stated that he did not intend to break Jacaré's arm and wished his opponent a speedy recovery.

“I forced the submission because I thought his arm wouldn't break but unfortunately it happened. I wish you the best and hope you come back quickly. I hope Jacaré has an excellent recovery”, concluded the middleweight.

With the triumph over Jacaré, Sergipano remains undefeated in Ultimate. The Brazilian was hired by the organization in 2019 and has since defeated all four of his opponents so far. The fighter has a record of 21 wins and four losses.
