Experiencing a moment of instability within the UFC, Stephens is trying to recover from a streak of five appearances without a win. The North American has not achieved a positive result since the knockout over Josh Emmett, in February 2018.
While Jeremy tries to recover, Gamrot seeks his second triumph with the Ultimate gloves. The organization's Polish promise, the fighter arrived at the company undefeated, but ended up feeling, for the first time, the taste of defeat in his debut, when he was defeated by Guram Kutateladze, in 2020, in a split decision by the judges.
After losing the first, Mateusz managed to recover. In April of this season, the athlete exchanged forces with scott holtzmann and left the octagon with another knockout on his record.
At 34 years old, Stephens is heading towards his 48th fight as a professional in MMA. The North American has 28 wins, 18 losses and one 'no result' fight. The 30-year-old Pole has 18 positive results, one negative and one 'I didn't answer'.
