the american Demetrious Johnson would defend the UFC flyweight belt at the TUF 17 Finale, an event that takes place on April 13th and marks the decision of the season of the organization's reality show. But the champion suffered a shoulder injury and was left out of the event. In addition to the injury, Johnson will have a longer recovery than expected. Coach Matt Hume revealed that his pupil suffered an injury to the labrum, a tissue that helps provide stability to the joint, and should return to competing in four to six months.

With the injury, Demetrious' return to the octagon should take place in the second half of this year, between the months of July and September. If there is no change in the category's ranking, North American John Moraga, who would be the challenger on April 13, will be Johnson's opponent.
