Neil Magny is willing to prove that he can be among the best players in the welterweight division (77kg.). In an interview with 'MMA Junkie', the North American stated that he is experiencing the peak of his career and considers Vincent Luque as an ideal opponent for his next fight.

“If it was a perfect world scenario, I would fight a guy like Vincent Luque. He is on an impressive winning streak at the moment and is ranked in the top 10. So this is definitely a guy moving my career forward, getting closer to the top five and closer to a title shot,” said Magny.

“I’m at my peak now. I want to make sure (I can) make the most of it and make the most of this opportunity. So if it means I have to fight three or four guys before I get a title shot, I'm willing to do that. The one thing I'm not willing to do is wait for that perfect, ideal match. I want to go there and make the perfect opportunity for myself”, concluded the North American.
At 33, Neil Magny occupies ninth place in the division ranking. He has a record of 25 wins and eight losses and was on a run of three wins, before losing his unbeaten record against Michael chiesa. Now, he recovered and achieved a positive result against Geoff neal in the unanimous decision of the judges.
