Dana White questions Kayla Harrison's possible move to the UFC: 'I don't know if she's ready'

President cited the high level of Ultimate athletes and showed no enthusiasm for a possible duel between the two-time PFL champion and Amanda Nunes

After his victory in PFL 3 (Professional Fighters League) last Thursday (6), Kayla harrison expressed his desire to face UFC legend Amanda Nunes. When asked about the possible duel taking place for Ultimate, Dana White was not excited and stated that he was not sure if the two-time Olympic champion is ready to face the fighters from his organization.

“I don't know if she's ready. I mean, I'm always looking for the best possible people to fight here. I just don't know if her team thinks she's ready yet. When you get here, it's a totally different level,” Dana told 'TSN Sports'

The president mentioned some athletes from his female squad to demonstrate the high caliber of fighters that Kayla would find in Ultimate and emphasized that the level of competitiveness that the two-time PFL champion would find in the organization is much higher than what she finds at the moment.

“Here we have great fighters…Holly (Holm), Germaine (de Randamie), Aspen ladd, Julianna Pena. The level found here is different. I don’t know if she’s really ready”, concluded the agent.

Current two-time lightweight champion (up to 70,3kg), Kayla harrison debuted on the right foot in the 2021 season by knocking out Mariana morais in PFL 3 which took place last Wednesday (6). The American has an undefeated record in MMA with eight straight victories.
