After UFC 157, held last Saturday (23), the Ultimate organization updated the fighter rankings. A curious fact is that, even with the first fight between women in history, there is still no ranking of the women's bantamweight category. Furthermore, some positions were reorganized, through voting by a board of designated journalists, and three Brazilians stood out, two of them without even fighting.

When winning Dan Henderson, Lyoto Machida He assumed the number 1 position in the light heavyweight category and will be the next challenger for the division belt. Even though he last appeared in the octagon in December, Mauritius Shogun, counting on the defeat of Rashad evans for Rogério Minotouro, moved up to sixth place in the light heavyweight division – tied with Evans himself. Finally, Ronaldo Jacare, recently arrived from Strikeforce, appeared for the first time in the middleweight category rankings, occupying tenth place.
