After replacing Darren till against Marvin vettori in early April, Kevin holland wants, once again, to 'break the game' of Ultimate. After the news that Diego Sanchez is out of the fight against Donald Cerrone on the May 8th show, the 'loudmouth' asked for a ticket to act in the veteran's place. The request was made on their social networks.

“I'm going to speed things up, sleep with my blanket and my sauna. You are a legend. Much respect for Donald Cerrone. I would be happy to present myself at around 79kg. If Cowboy needs an opponent for a challenge, maybe I'll show him a few tricks. Call the loudmouth,” wrote Holland, on his Twitter account. Instagram.
Willing to always be performing, Kevin is not having a good time in the current season. After a perfect 2020, in which he performed five times and won every opportunity, the 'loudmouth' ended up encountering a sequence of two setbacks.
In his last two appearances, Holland ended up largely dominated by his opponents. In the confrontation against the veteran Derek Brunson, in March, the North American lost the opportunity to advance in middleweight (up to 83,9kg.), being beaten by points. In April, history repeated itself. The athlete had no chance against Vettori, who won handily and qualified to compete for the division's belt.
If Kevin's phase has become unstable, Cerrone's is not far behind. Considered one of the most charismatic athletes in Ultimate, due to his exciting performances, the veteran hasn't won in five fights and is under pressure for his next challenge. Retirement for the combatant is currently ruled out.
Ultimate has not yet stated whether it will give Holland an opportunity. The information, so far, is that the company continues to look for an opponent for Donald.
