Ultimate acted quickly after receiving confirmation that TJ Dillashaw he had suffered a cut on his eyebrow and had to withdraw from the fight against Cory Sandhagem. Now for the main fight of the UFC Las Vegas 26th of May 8th, the organization organized the duel between straws (up to 52,1kg.) Marina Rodriguez e Michelle Waterson. Marina Rodriguez was discovered in the first edition of 'Contender Series Brazil' – reality show that seeks new talent for the UFC. Since then, she has had six fights in the organization, with three wins, one loss and two draws.

Moreover, Michelle Waterson, 35, is a former Invicta FC champion and is in ninth place in the category. Currently, the North American is coming off a triumph against Angela Hill in the judges' split decision, in the main fight of the UFC Las Vegas 10.
