The Brazilian Douglas lima is in the final of the Bellator welterweight GP. In the 90th edition of the event, held this Thursday (21), in Utah, in the United States, the Brazilian athlete knocked out the American Bryan Baker and advanced to the decision.
With sharp striking, the fighter from Goiás found the distance at the beginning of the fight and commanded the actions. After leaving his opponent against the bars, Douglas unleashed a powerful right blow that took Baker to the ground, who was knocked out.
With the triumph, in just over two minutes of fight, the Brazilian will face former UFC athlete, Ben Saunders, in the grand final. Interestingly, it was Saunders who eliminated Douglas in the last edition of the GP.
King mo is surprised and falls knocked out
In another big fight at Bellator 90, the underdog showed up. The North American King mo Lawal was the big favorite for the light heavyweight GP, but the former Strikeforce champion ended up being knocked out by Emanuel Newton.
Still in the first round, King mo He tried to attack the standup, but in a quick counterattack, Newton dodged and threw a spinning punch, which he connected with his rival's chin. Mo slowly fell knocked out, still being held by Emanuel before reaching the ground.
