“I can say that my career will not end anytime soon. I plan to fight for a long time. This fight (against Amanda) will happen. I won't press. (…) I know the fight will happen naturally. Everyone will say: 'There's no other way. Only this fight makes sense.' I think that, when the time comes, it will be something big”, said the Kyrgyzstani, at the press conference after the show.

Absolute in the group up to 56,7kg., Valentina has had matters to resolve with the 'Leoa' since 2017, when she suffered the last negative result of her career, in the fight for the bantamweight title (up to 61,2kg.). On that occasion, the Brazilian emerged victorious in the judges' split decision, something that still bothers 'Bullet'. In the first meeting, in 2016, the Bahian also beat her rival on points, but unanimously.

Shevchenko's triumph against Bate-Estaca further established the fighter as the great queen of the category. Dominant, the athlete reached her fifth belt defense, the first in 2021.
