Two days after submitting challenger Michael McDonald at Wembley Arena and retaining the interim bantamweight belt, Renan Barao He took Monday (18) off to see the main tourist attractions in London. After photos in front of the traditional Wembley Stadium, the native of Rio Grande do Norte visited the London Tower and Bridge, Big Ben, the London Eye and Buckingham Palace.

"It's very cold. Those who come from Christmas don't like this ice (laughs). But it was great. It gave me a lot to learn. In almost every event I fought, I didn't have the opportunity to see the city. Worth it. I found everything very beautiful”, commented Barão, who was liked by the English, Japanese, Polish, Canadians and also by Brazilians who work in or visit the “land of the queen”.

The victory against McDonald was the Potiguar's second appearance in England. The first time, at UFC 138, in November 2011, Barão also left the octagon with victory, when he submitted Englishman Brad pickett. “England has been lucky for me. Before the first fight, I wasn't very well known here. Now, recognition has increased significantly. They already ask me to take a photo and sign an autograph. I was very well received”, concluded the Brazilian.
