One of the big names in ONE Championship, Adriano Moraes proved that he deserves to be champion in the organization. Last Wednesday (7), the Brazilian made history by defeating one of the biggest names in the history of the category. With a devastating knockout, the champion nullified Demetrious Johnson and remained at the top of the division.

Without fighting since 2019, Moraes faced the biggest test of his career to date. The Tupiniquim, however, acted safely and managed to achieve the first knockout suffered by the North American in his career.
Until the meeting with the Brazilian, Johnson had lost three clashes, but all of them were decided by the judges. Demetrious' last defeat – before the clash against Adriano – took place in the duel that marked his farewell to Ultimate, when he lost the belt to Henry Cejudo.
