The crisis formed between Jon Jones and the UFC management did not prevent the North American from continuing to prepare for his heavyweight debut (up to 120,2kg). This Tuesday (6), the athlete used social media to show off his great shape and prove that he is following his training schedule. The athlete negotiates a confrontation against Francis Ngannou for the group title up to 120,2kg.

Before the UFC 260, held at the end of March, Jones considered his fight against the winner of the confrontation between Stipe Miocic e Francis Ngannou. The information, in this case, was confirmed a few months ago by the president of Ultimate, Dana White. The result in the show, however, seems to have changed the course of history.

In the press conference after the show, the president changed his speech and, in a tone of irony, even suggested that Jon should be afraid of the new champion, Ngannou, who brutally ran over Miocic. In addition to the speech, the 'big boss' admitted that he could climb Derrick Lewis against Francis.

In the process of gaining muscle mass since August 2020, 'Bones' didn't take the news well from his boss. Following the interview live, the former light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg) started to criticize the organization on the networks social. The fighter's irritation lasted for days and the fighter's anger was such that Jon publicly asked for his dismissal from the company – but subsequently deleted the publication.

Recently, the 'ESPN' released the information that the UFC offered Ngannou a showdown against Derrick Lewis for his first title defense. The news indicates that the priority in the division is not to promote the superfight between Jones and Francis. To earn the right to try to win a second UFC belt, 'Bones' will have to adapt to the salary that will be offered by the company, and not the millionaire figures that it has been demanding.
