Looking to recover from her defeat at UFC 257, Amanda Ribas has a fight planned against Angela Hill

Brazilian promise in strawweight (up to 52,1kg.), Amanda ribas is close to having her next fight confirmed in Ultimate. After suffering the first defeat in the company, in UFC 257, the Brazilian will have the chance to recover in a confrontation against Angela Hill. According to 'MMA fighting', the company is negotiating the duel for May 8, with no defined location.

One of the protagonists of UFC 257, Ribas suffered his first defeat in the company in the meeting with Marina Rodriguez. On that occasion, the Minas Gerais native ended up succumbing to the Gaucho's sharp striking and was beaten with a hard knockout in the second round.

Current number 10 in the rankings, Amanda will defend her position and seek to get back on track to winning ways. To do this, the Brazilian must stop the momentum of the North American, currently in 12th, who is asking for passage in the group led by Weili Zhang.

At 27 years old, Ribas has 12 appearances as a professional in MMA. Over the course of her seven-year career, the fighter has had 10 fights and two setbacks.

An MMA veteran, Hill will have her second fight in 2021. Known for her frequency in the octagon, the athlete is coming off a victory over Ashley yoder, in March. Currently, the 36-year-old American has 13 triumphs and nine setbacks, in 22 clashes.
