With a good-humored message, Anderson Silva jokes about a possible boxing test

MMA legend uses social media about temporary migration to the 'noble art'; athlete negotiates fight against Julio César Cháves Jr. for June 19

One of the greatest legends in the history of mixed martial arts, Anderson Silva seems to be really willing to temporarily switch to boxing. Negotiating a superfight against the former world champion in the 'noble art', Julio César Cháves Jr., the Brazilian published a good-humored message that could be related to the clash. 'Spider' broke with the UFC at the end of 2020.

At 45 years old, Anderson admitted, in November of last season, that he does not intend to hang up his gloves, regardless of the sport played. A born competitor, the Brazilian did not let himself be shaken by the tough defeat he suffered against Uriah Hall, in the confrontation that sealed his participation in Ultimate.

Considered by many to be the best MMA fighter of all time, Silva is not having a good time in the sport. Middleweight legend (up to 83,9kg), the Brazilian has won just two victories in his last 10 appearances.

According to 'TMZ', The confrontation between Anderson and Julio César Cháves will take place in Guadalajara, in Mexico, on June 19. The fight will last 10 rounds.

A reference in mixed martial arts, Silva has recorded two clashes under the rules of the 'noble art'. The Brazilian has one victory (2005) and one defeat (1998).

At 35 years old, Júnior experienced his peak in boxing between 2006 and 2015, when he won and defended the WBC (World Boxing Confederation) belt. Over his 17-year career, the athlete, who is the son of the legendary Julio César Chávez, competed in 59 fights, winning 52 and losing on five occasions.
