The historic victory of Francis Ngannou about Stipe Miocic No. UFC 260 did not go unnoticed by Israel adesanya. Supporting the French-Cameroonian, the middleweight champion (up to 83,9kg) made a point of recording the celebration in the face of the massacre imposed by the new heavyweight leader (up to 120,2kg) against the North American. The video was released on the Nigerian social media.

With Ngannou's victory, Ultimate now has three with roots on the African continent. Heavyweight champion, Francis joined Adesanya, leader of the middleweight division, and Kamaru Usman, who dominates the under-77kg group.
Last Saturday's spectacle (27) marked the French-Cameroonian's second attempt at winning the title in the under-120,2kg category. In his first challenge, in 2018, Francis ended up being defeated by the same Miocic, who already held the belt.
Three years later, history has not repeated itself. With a confident performance and visible technical evolution, the 'giant' gave Stipe no chance, who is considered by many to be the best athlete in the history of the division. To overcome the North American, Francis needed just two rounds, settling the score with a brutal knockout in the second round.
