The premiere of Jon Jones in heavyweights (up to 120,2kg.) the category title may be at risk. According to the company's president, Dana White, a possible victory for Francis Ngannou about Stipe Miocic No. UFC 260, which takes place this Saturday (27), could change the course of history. In a press conference to promote the show, the 'big boss' admitted that, if the French-Cameroonian wins the belt, there could be a third fight between the 'giants', postponing 'Bones'.

“We’ll see what happens, how things unfold. It would be difficult to say that (Miocic) doesn't deserve a rematch. Of course he deserves it. I don’t know (what will happen)”, said the ‘boss.
The confrontation that headlines this weekend's show will promote the meeting between Francis and Stipe after more than three years. In the first clash between them, the North American, who already held the title, had a gala performance against a feared rival within the company.
No UFC 260, Ngannou must prove that he has evolved technically to surpass what is considered, by many, as one of the best heavyweights in MMA of all time. To heat up the dispute, the French-Cameroonian brings with him a recent strong record, coming from four consecutive knockout victories.
While the 'giants' exchange forces for the throne of the category, Jon Jones follows his preparation for one of the biggest challenges of his career. Out of the light heavyweight division (up to 93kg.) since August 2020, the North American, who gave up his old title, has been sharing images of his physical evolution so he can face his rivals on equal terms.
A few months ago, Dana White confirmed that 'Bones' long-awaited debut in the group will take place in a direct confrontation for the title. The debut date, however, has not yet been announced.
