The circulated rumor that Vitor belfort had not passed the test was denied by the organization. According to an official statement, Belfort is undergoing testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), under the supervision of a doctor from the State of Nevada, and was authorized by the UFC to undergo the treatment.

As a result, the remaining 21 fighters tested in the UFC Sao Paulo passed the anti-doping test unharmed.
