Former rival, Patrício Pitbull recalls rivalry against Michael Chandler: 'It was personal'

Featherweight (up to 65,7kg) and lightweight (up to 70,3kg) champion reveals that he made the North American 'pay for his words' at Bellator 221

In search of another title defense, Patrick Pitbull says he is focused on the rematch against Emmanuel sanchez, but remembered his rivalry against Michael chandler. The Brazilian, who fights on April 2nd in a fight valid for Bellator 255, spoke about his personal history with the North American and highlighted the former rival's sudden success in Ultimate.

“My rivalry against Michael chandler it was personal. The same night he beat my brother, he said he could beat my entire family. I made him pay for his words and knocked him out inside the cage in one minute,” recalled Patrício in an interview with 'MMA Junkie'.
