The Brazilian Antonio Pezão surprised the world by knocking out alistair overeem at UFC 156, an event held this Saturday night (02), in Las Vegas, in the United States. After the duel, the Tupiniquim athlete shouted about his fallen opponent, in a clear response to the provocations received before the confrontation.

At the press conference after the show, Pezão explained his reaction and commented on what he said to his knocked-out rival. “He didn’t respect me, he said a lot of nonsense and the fight can only be won inside the Octagon. When the fight stopped, I was still excited and said 'come fight with me'”, said Pezão, who commented on his strategy for the duel.

“I had a fight strategy, because Overeem doesn't have good physical preparation. When he punches you he is very strong, but when you hit him, he feels a lot. So I put my right hand in and he lowered his head,” he concluded.
