“More cardio means more food. Back to 111,1kg.”, wrote the 'Bones', in your account Twitter.
Without fighting since February 2020, when he last defended his old light heavyweight title, Jon made his migration to the top division official in August. Aware of his decision, the athlete gave up the belt, which was later won by Jan Bachowicz.
With no date for his debut in the new group, Jones' only certainty is that his first commitment will take place in the division's title fight. The information was confirmed by the president of Ultimate, Dana White, who assured the fighter as the rival of the winner of the confrontation between Stipe Miocic e Francis Ngannou, UFC 260.
At 33 years old, Jones is considered by many to be the best MMA fighter of all time. Today, the athlete has 28 appearances, with 26 victories, one defeat and one 'no result' fight.
Jon's only negative result occurred in 2009. At the time, the athlete was disqualified after applying an illegal elbow (at the time) to Matt Hamill. O 'I didn't answer' happened in 2017, when, initially, the North American hit Daniel Cormier, but ended up 'failing' the anti-doping test.
