One of the great icons in the history of MMA, Mirko Filipovic, popularly known as 'Cro Cop' surprised his followers by showing an image alongside his 18-year-old son. Considered one of those largely responsible for spreading MMA to the world in the early 2000s, Cro Cop made more than 50 presentations in the sport. In his almost 20-year career, the athlete beat names like Kevin Randleman, Mark Coleman, Wanderlei Silva, Gabriel Gonzaga (Napão), and Roy Nelson.
The athlete retired from the sport in 2019, after suffering a stroke. Before that, the Croatian continued to perform and confirmed 10 victories in a row, not knowing what it's like to lose since 2013.
According to 'BJPenn.com', Cro Cop Júnior has everything it takes to follow in his father's footsteps. According to the North American website, the young man has been preparing to start his career in martial arts for years.
