“Last week, on March XNUMXnd, we had a special visit here at 'Sanford MMA': the champion Kamaru Usman, former teammate and my last opponent. He came here because a friend of ours is fighting in Abu Dhabi. He is very close to Kamaru, who will be in the corner”, stated Durinho in his 'Twitter'.

Gilbert also stated that, despite facing Usman, there was no stronger attack that left any marks. In fact, he says he hopes for a possible rematch in the future.

“He came to the gym, he was good. Respect is still alive. We shook each other's hands and exchanged a few words. We are all fine now, but I still believe that we will see each other again soon, in the Octagon”, added the Brazilian.
