In the meeting between two Brazilians, the woman from Pará got the better of her and left the octagon with a devastating knockout in the first round.

With the result, Amanda, 33 years old, confirmed her good form and extended her undefeated streak to three triumphs. Now, the company from Pará must finally reach the top 15 in the category, as its rival occupied 15th position.
Considered a promise for the straws, Livinha was unable to repeat the good performance she had against Ashley yoder, in August 202. With the defeat, the Brazilian now has her second setback in five appearances in Ultimate.
After the duel, Lemos asked for more commitments. The fighter stated that she wants to perform more often in the current season.
The fight
The confrontation began with Livinha taking the initiative, risking a high kick. Lemos saved his strikes and followed his opponent's movement in the Octagon. Amanda started to frame Souza against the bars and hit her rival with punches and low kicks. After almost two minutes, Lemos hit her compatriot with a clean cross to the face, which made her opponent fall. The woman from Pará tried to take advantage of the good moment, trying a guillotine, but Livinha managed to get out of position and risked a heel hook. Amanda defended herself, reversed the situation and the confrontation returned to standing. Lemos continued to be more aggressive, while Souza produced little in the clash. Almost in the final minute, Livinha collapsed again, this time with a straight right from the Pará native. Realizing Souza's disadvantage, the referee decided to end the confrontation.

Light heavyweight athletes (up to 93kg.), Kennedy Nzechukwu e Carlos Ulberg promoted an exciting confrontation. In the first half of the show, the combatants accepted the open fight and exchanged blows for two rounds. Confident in his guard, Nzechukwu moved forward throughout the confrontation and, in the second stage, managed a tough knockout over his rival, who lost his unbeaten record in MMA.
The positive result against the New Zealander confirmed the fighter's good form. Now, the athlete is moving away from the setback suffered in his debut, when he was submitted by Paul Craig. Afterwards, the North American beat Darko Stosic and now has two victories in three UFC commitments.
Reaching his fourth fight as a professional in MMA, Carlos suffered defeat in a harsh way. Despite having started the match well, the athlete, who made his UFC debut, seemed to get tired during the match and ended up falling into his rival's trap, succumbing in the second round.

Ultimate veteran, Tim Elliot can breathe easy. Former challenger to the organization's flyweight belt (up to 56,7kg), the North American fought a safe fight and dominated Jordan Espinosa for 15 minutes. After three rounds, the athlete, who abused takedowns, was announced the winner in a unanimous decision by the judges.
Although he won in his last challenge, Elliot entered the octagon under pressure after an unstable recent record. Before the UFC 259, the veteran had three defeats in the last five appearances. Now, the athlete is moving away from the bad moment and will try to resume his climb towards the top of the category led by Deiveson Figueiredo.
If Tim will be able to sleep peacefully after the show, Espinosa has reason to worry. The athlete, who was trying to reach the top 15 in the division, won one fight in his last five commitments. The combatant runs the risk of being included on the company's dreaded layoff list.

Known for his qualities when confronting the ground, Matthews was unable to withstand his rival's intensity. The fighter, who hadn't lost in more than two years, now had a series of three victories ended.
