In an event with nine fights, Peter Munhoz ended up being one of the highlights of the UFC Las Vegas 20, held on Saturday (27). Winner in the confrontation against Jimmie rivera, entitled to one of the bonuses of US$50 thousand (around R$279 thousand), the Brazilian proposed that his next challenge be with TJ Dillashaw. “A lot of people are saying that TJ Dillashaw is coming back. He's a great fight for me and it would be an honor to share the Octagon with him. So, I'm ready to welcome you”, said the Brazilian.

Pedro's speech is based on the return of the former category champion, who will return to action in 2021, after serving a two-year suspension for doping. The São Paulo native's idea is to exchange forces against one of the biggest names in the history of bantamweight (up to 61,2kg) and, thus, return to the spotlight for a future title fight.

Since becoming eligible to step into the Octagon, Dillashaw has been publicizing his preparation on his social media. Although he has shown good physical shape, there is still no confirmed opponent for the American.

In a recent interview, UFC president Dana White did not rule out that TJ could return directly for a title fight. The title will even be put on the line this Saturday (6), when the current champion, Petr yan, face aljamain sterling, in one of the main fights of the UFC 259.

In the fight, voted ‘Best of the Night’, the Brazilian, together with his rival, staged an exciting fight for the spectators. The duel was fought standing up, with frank striking and, after three rounds, Pedro was declared the winner in a unanimous decision.
