The evolution of Dustin poirier continues to surprise many people. Executioner of Conor McGregor No. UFC 257, the North American's performances caught the attention of the company's main commentator, Joe Rogan. In his podcast, the professional spoke about the evident evolution of 'Diamante'.

In his weekly program, Rogan compared the featherweight (up to 65,7kg) and lightweight (up to 70,3kg) versions of the fighter. The professional also analyzed the moment the athlete is going through since he decided to change category.
“At featherweight, Poirier was exhausted and smaller. Light us up? He's huge. He doesn't even look like a lightweight but rather a welterweight. Look at his winning streak, the people he defeated. He beat Holloway up. This is crazy! He won at what Max does best, which is striking. Poirier has improved a lot”, praised Joe.
Dustin is currently ranked first in the ranking leader of the group up to 70,3kg. After becoming interim champion of the category and losing the unification to Khabib Nurmagomedov, in 2019, the 'Diamante' amended two consecutive victories.
In his last commitments, the North American won a real battle against Dan Hooker, 2020 and, this season, ran over Conor McGregor in a historical event. Now, the fighter is negotiating a trilogy with the Irishman.
