Even without putting on a show against one of the most dangerous names in the category, Gane is aware of the big step he has taken in his career. This weekend, the heavyweight (up to 120,2kg) extended his unbeaten career streak to eight engagements.

Without ever having felt the taste of defeat and, even without so much experience in MMA, Ciryl believes that it is already a reality within the sport. The fighter then analyzed a future title fight in the group led by Stipe Miocic.

“I could be considered for a title fight. I think people like a man like me, young. I have little experience, but I manage it very well. I'm undefeated. If they have a place for me next month, if someone gets injured, I'm here”, he concluded.

At 30 years old, Gane debuted in professional MMA just over two years ago. Even with few fights in the sport, the fighter should take a position in the top 5 heavyweights, taking Jairzinho's place.
