On your podcast Joe Rogan Experience MMA Show, who won the award for most popular of the year in 2020, the UFC commentator praised the São Paulo native's recent phase, says he would like to see him against Dustin poirier and even stated that Do Bronx could bring problems to Khabib Nurmagomedov.

“With (Charles) Do Bronx, there are moments during his career – like when Cub swanson knocked him out – and then you watch some fights against Kevin Lee e Tony Ferguson and you realize that he is very technical and does everything very well. And the way Charles controlled Ferguson on the ground… And, first, we wanted to know what would happen in a fight against Khabib, because Tony is dangerous even on his back. I’m more interested in seeing Do Bronx fight for the title than anyone else in the division,” said Rogan.

The commentator even did an 'exercise of imagination' to talk about what could have been a fight between Khabib Nurmagomedov e Charles of the Bronx. The Russian still remains lightweight champion, despite having announced his retirement after the clash against Justin gaethje. For Rogan, the Brazilian could have caused Khabib big problems.

“I believe Khabib is the GOAT (an acronym that, in English, means 'the best of all time') in this lightweight category, but I don't know what would have happened in a fight against Charles of the Bronx. I would only believe it by watching the duel”, he concluded.
