The Organization of the Coliseum Pira Fight is more audacious with each event, and for the next show the promoters are bringing the traditional rule of true Muay Thai “the elbow” to the interior of São Paulo.
A lot of controversy surrounds the women's fight between Tainara Lisboa (Thai Center) vs. istela nunes (Strykers Mori Team). On September 29, 2007, the Muay Thai Open Regional Championship took place in Bragança Paulista, at the time there was a great discussion about the result of the fight when the announcer announced Tainara as champion, generating many debates among the spectators present and later on internet forums .
“Tira-Tema”, in order to clarify who really is the best between the two athletes, the organizers decided to put the fight again in the 2nd edition of the event, but with a little more spice, involving elbows.
The atmosphere also heats up in the men's category, there will be a dispute for the Coliseum Pirafight belt, under the rules of K1–Rules, Cícero Adriano (Serginho Team), current champion of the 1st edition of the Pira Fight Championship, “takes” the experienced and pupil of the master Paulo Nikolai the athlete João Cardoso (Muay Thai Nikolai).
