Ultimate management tried to get Michael Kuiper to have a fight at the beginning of 2013, but the injury of his fourth opponent prevented his return to the octagon. The injured party this time was Josh Janousek, who would face the North American at UFC on FOX 6, next Saturday (26). Before him, the North American Buddy Roberts and the Brazilians Thiago Bodão e Gaius Monster, who would face Kuiper in the UFC Sao Paulo, had already left the fight for the same reason.
With the exclusion of the fight, which would have been valid in the middleweight category (up to 84kg), the event card now has 10 fights. The main attraction will be the first defense of the flyweight belt by Demetrious Johnson against John Dodson. Check out all the UFC on FOX 6 clashes below:
