With two months until his Bellator debut, Yoel romero showed off his physical form for the fight in front of Anthony Johnson, in edition nº 257, which will be valid for the Grand Prix light heavyweight division (up to 93kg.) and will take place on April 16th. On his social networks, the Cuban registered the promotional image of his new organization.

Yoel romero, 43 years old, is considered one of the most feared fighters in the history of middleweights (up to 83,9kg) in Ultimate. After almost ten years, the Cuban broke with the UFC to sign with its main competitor. Currently, he has a record of 13 wins and five losses.
Even though he is confirmed for the light heavyweight division (up to 93kg), the Cuban has only five fights in the category. There are four triumphs and a setback, precisely in the only defeat outside of Ultimate, against the Brazilian Rafael Feijão.
O Grand Prix there will still be a rematch between Ryan bader e Lyoto Machida, in addition to the combat between Corey anderson and Dovletdzhan Yagshimuradov. In the other fight of Bellator 257, the current champion Vadim nemkov face Phil Davis. The final of the tournament will take place in October, which does not yet have an official date and location. The winner will receive a prize of US$1 million (approximately R$5,4 million).
